Brief: Self Portrait

In response to the new exhibition open this month at The Turner Contemporary ‘SELF: Image and Identity’, this month’s camera club will explore the documentary impulse of the self-portrait; what motivates people to document themselves and the notion of creating self-portraits for the means of public consumption.
We will share our opinions on the Self Portrait exhibition at the Turner Contemporary (please make time to see the exhibition if you can) and bring along an example of a self-portrait either of yourselves or of someone else that interests you, to exhibit on the night.
