An open mic-style forum for sharing ideas, proposing projects, making a speech, complaining, talking politics, telling a joke, singing a song, playing a record, showing a film – whatever you like. You have up to 10 minutes. The audience will give you a fair hearing, whatever you have to say. RSVP if you want a slot.
OPEN is free and open to all. OPEN is facilitated by Dan and Trish Scott.
A collaborative installation exploring the relationship between objects, place and space executed through the action of moving house by Holly Rogers, Daniel Tollady and Chihiro Yoshikura. Let’s play house! (Housewarming presents welcome). All events are free and will be held at the Resort Gallery.

Our three Resort members Dawn Weller, Rachel Ella Taylor and Julia Riddiough won a recent pitch in March 2015 to work on a Louvre-Lens project in northern France; ‘Enhancing the Visit’ following the recent branding exercise by Li Eldekoort and her studio to uplift the town of Lens and highlight the newly built Louvre Museum extension from it’s sister location in Paris. Celebrate the opening of the new creative hub at Resort Studios. Our members showcase exhibition ‘Bricking It’, will be on show during the afternoon in the gallery and you’ll have the chance to buy the artworks as they’re auctioned around 8pm.
Music, bar and merriment planned. Free and open to all.

Thursday 26th March

Animation Director, Dan Richards from Margate’s A+C Studios will be discussing some of their stop motion films and how to make the leap from home working to a creative studio. A+C Studios produced Harrods’ Christmas animation in 2014 and have worked with clients including Samsung, E.ON Energy and Chivas Regal.
Followed by a Q&A and drinks. Places free, contact us to book.
