During lockdown and around the uncertainty of COVID-19, we have been working to create online support aimed specifically at our members and immediate community.
Currently all the information regarding funding, grants, loans and translations of the government announcements are on a new COVID-19 page on our website.
We will be running updates on our social media channels, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using #RESORTful or get in touch if you have any suggestions or questions.

Lilias Buchanan presents ‘Sound and Vision’ – a six week drawing course inspired by iconic albums.
Music has deeply inspired artists through history. Kandinsky, perhaps most famously of all, put music at the heart of his painting. Basquiat listened obsessively to David Bowie’s ‘Low’ while painting in the studio; Matisse named his iconic book of prints ‘Jazz’; Freeman Vine’s hand carved guitars – part musical part sculpture. A group exhibition featuring artists whose works are driven by political or social themes, celebrating the relationship between art and politics.
The works included in this exhibition denote a variety of approaches to making artwork of a political nature. Placards, painting, posters, activism and sculpture are just some of the ways you will see the manifestation of thoughts and voices.

Our crowdfunder to raise funds for legal fees to secure our long term future in Margate is coming to a close. Elsewhere have very kindly offered us the space to hold a one-off exhibition, auction and live screen printing event.
