Help us stay in the Pettman Building
Pledge your support by 13 December

Resort currently provides affordable studio space for over forty people, including artists, designers, writers, musicians and photographers. As well as a place to work, Resort is an important creative hub for the local community in Cliftonville.

We have invested huge amounts of time, effort, love and money to get this far. We now need your help to protect our long-term future in this wonderful historic building. We need to raise £10,000 to pay for legal fees and court costs to secure our lease and to carry on doing what we have done for the last seven years.

RE-thought exhibition

RE-thought is a group show by members and friends of RESORT Studios. This year’s theme and title is inspired by reusing, recycling and repurposing objects, thoughts and ideas.

Taking part in this year’s exhibition are RESORT members Crackden&Wonkypot, Nat Maks, Iain Purves, Jenny Duff, Fiona Stewart, Kim Conway, Shaun PRICKIMAGE, Nick Morley, Teresa Limbrick, Melanie King and Helder Clara. drawing from the cinema of dreams

Begins 6 November, 6.30 – 9.30pm

Artist Lilias Buchanan will be teaching a 6 week drawing course, each week using a different film as inspiration.

The class is open to all abilities and will feature a different film each week starting with the Colour of Pomegranates by Sejei Parajanov.

Urchin Wines will be pairing wines for those who want to really relax into their work.

£15 for a drop-in session or £75 for the full 6 week term (one class free).

Every Wednesday from 6 November until 11 December, 6.30 – 9.30pm.
